PelicanHPC login incorrect

Hello!

I was downloading PelicanHPC v2.6 and I have a problem because I was installing ditribution PelicanHPC on VMware and When I typing login: user, password: xxxxxx ( change ) show error: login incorrect..

I just started up v2.6 using Virtualbox, with no problems. Can you describe the steps you're taking more completely?

Is okej! PelicanHPC started.. But I have next a problem with configurations VirtualBox. I have router and two laptop's.

On First Laptop is VirtualBox with PelicanHPC, On second laptop is normal Windows Starter...

I am connecting laptops to router and I running VirtualBox and I make Virtual Machnie: PelicanHPC_2.6 and Slave1 and I have a problem because when I was running Slave1, show error "No ip..."

How settings in Network??? I would like to try on two virtual machine....

I am soryy for spam but I was making clusters.. :) I have a problem with VirtualBox but I will tomorrow building cluster on VB.

With Virtualbox, create an internal network for the cluster, for both the frontend and the compute nodes. Then your nodes should get IPs. I have done this many times in presentations, it works very well. Check the virtualbox documentation for the details.

I have same problem such as cylinder1990 on VirtualBox 4.1.4
I remove "PleaseChangeMe!" using Backspace and type new password. For example "hpc" (without quotes). And press enter.

 password: hpc

I see that you have only 256MB of base memory for the virtual machine. That needs to be larger, for example 1GB. I'm not sure what the absolute minimum is. I'm pretty sure your problems will disappear if you increase that.

Increase size of memory solve problem.
For the host - minimum 512 MB of system makes it possible to work. For nodes - 384 MB.
